FLASH A NOKIA MOBILEPHONE USING DATA CABLE


What is needed?

  1. USB data cable (miniUSB or microUSB)
  2.  Nokia BB5 mobile(check whether your phone belongs to this category by CLICKING HERE..
  3. cracked Nokia Phoenix Service Software
    Download it from here,HERE
  4. Navifirm
    Download from HERE
  5. Internet connection
STEPS 
  1. Note down  phone model(For example, RM-721 for Nokia C2 01) and
    product code(
    059L9V3 for ma C2 01)...You can see these things beneath your battery...
    (PRODUCT CODE DETERMINES THE LANGUAGES NEEDED FOR THE USER)
          Open navifirm...Wait for all the software lists to be loaded

In products enter your phon model(say RM-721 for C2 01).
In releases select the phone firmware version to be downloaded (i did select 11.10 )
In variants enter your product code(059L9V3
for ma phone)...There after you will get only one result in box "releases"...Select that result...Now you can see a box of files at right side...Mark all files except memory card content(if it is present in that result)  since it has more size...
Select the folder to download above selected files...and click download...
After completing download,you may close this software.
Copy all contents downloaded from the folder selected...
If you want download a firmware with specefic language pack(Most of the phones purchased from other contries didn't support malayam),find other phone of same phone model(RM-721 for ma C2 01)which do support that language pack, and note down it's product code(...Enter it in navifirm instead of entering your orginal product code(for example 
059L9V3) before downloading the firmware..
  1. Instal  and Run Phoenix Service Software as administrator. (Windows Vista, 7: right click -> run as administrator; XP: login with administrator privileges)....
    Now go to “C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Products” and create a new folder in the last folder (“Products”) of the above path and name it RM-xxx (which is your phone type code that you noted earlier, replace “xxx” with your phones actual code numbers, for example it will be RM-721 for C2 01). Now paste the downloaded files  to the newly created folder “C:/Program Files/Nokia/Phoenix/Products/RM-xxx″. Phoenix will look for the files in the above folder when flashing the phone.
  2. Remove phone from cable. Make sure it is turned off. If it is neccessary, remove and insert battery.
           In  Phoenix,
 
  • Run Phoenix Service Software as administrator. (Windows Vista, 7: right click -> run as administrator; XP: login with administrator privileges). Select "NO CONNECTION" as connection type.

  • Select "Open Product" option in "File" menu.

  • A window will appear, select the mobile phone. The product code of the mobile phone is on the sticker under the battery. (Usually RM-xxx)

  • Select "Firmware Update" option in "Flashing" menu.

  • Press "..." button on the top-right corner of the window to select the language pack / product code You want to flash on phone.

  • Now select the product code / language pack You want to flash on phone, and press OK button.

  • Tick Dead phone USB flashing.

  • Press "Refurbish" to start the flashing.

  • Follow the instructions: (if that method doesn't work, press OK, then press power on button on phone and right after connect the usb cable)

  • Phone firmware update process should start.

  • When the update process finished, a window will appear: "Firmware updating succeded."

  •  Remove phone from cable, and try to turn it on.
